Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchanges: Request For Proposal To Issue The First Equity ETF On CASE 30 Index

Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchanges (CASE) is the first stock exchange in the Arab region that intends to launch an ETF on its well-branded CASE 30 Index, the benchmark of the Egyptian capital market, in 2008.

CASE is inviting proposals from well-qualified and experienced issuers for the launch of the First Equity Exchange Traded Fund (“ETF”) on its CASE 30 Index that will be listed and traded on CASE in 2008.

Only suitably competent issuers who are interested are requested to download the RFP for creating the first ETF on CASE 30 Index from CASE web site www.egyptse.com starting 8 November 2007.

The closing date to receive complete proposals from interested issuers will be on 16 December 2007 at 5pm.
