Bursa Malaysia: Trading On Equities Market To Resume In Afternoon Session

Equities trading on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad will resume trading as normal at 2:30pm this afternoon from the back up system at its alternate trading site.

The exchange remains focused on ensuring there is minimal disruption to trading.  Bursa Malaysia is investigating the problem that caused the trading system failure this morning at its primary site and is working towards resuming trading from the primary site as soon as possible.

Bursa Malaysia will notify of any updates periodically.
