Bursa Malaysia: Closure Of Exchange On Hari Raya Aidilfitri - Half Day Trading On The Eve If Hari Raya Falls On Friday, 10 September 2010

Bursa Malaysia Berhad would like to announce its office closure in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

If Hari Raya falls on Thursday, 9 September 2010

  • All the offices of Bursa Malaysia will be closed on Thursday, 9 September and Friday, 10 September 2010.
  • The Exchange will resume operations on Monday, 13 September 2010.

If Hari Raya falls on Friday, 10 September 2010

  • Trading will be closed for the afternoon session of Thursday, 9 September 2010 in conjunction with the eve of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Trading on the equities market will be closed from 12.30pm onwards; and derivatives trading will be closed from 12.45pm onwards. Clearing & Settlement and Depository services will continue and close as usual on 9 September 2010.
  • All the offices of Bursa Malaysia will be closed on Friday, 10 September 2010.
  • The Exchange will resume operations on Monday, 13 September 2010.
