The representatives of International Caviar Corporation (AMAL) attended the official opening of the trading session of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, marking the company’s debut on the AeRO market, after the transfer from Rasdaq.
“The timing for the listing of International Caviar Corporation today on the new AeRO market could not have been better. Five months ago, on April 27th, the shareholders decided a share capital increase. We made this decision because we built in the last 15 years a perfect organization for caviar production. Now we want to give our caviar customers also the chance to participate as shareholders to the success of our business. The client wants perfect caviar quality for a good price, and this is what we offer to our customers since 2008”, stated Roland Schröder, the major shareholder and member of the Board of International Caviar Corporation.
As of 2016, International Caviar Corporation will become a holding company which owns 100% of the German companies ICC Aquakultur Deutschland GmbH and Fischzucht Zippelsförde GmbH. Furthermore, International Caviar Corporation will be the owner of the sturgeon farm Zippelsförde by merging with ICC Preussen Kaviar GmbH.
In the last 12 months, investors on the Bucharest Stock Exchange traded almost 6.9mn of International Caviar Corporation shares, representing 7.4% of the share capital of the company, for RON 690,000 (EUR 156.000).
