Global network, cloud and hosting provider BSO, has been voted best low-latency network provider in the 2017 Intelligent Trading Technology Awards, underscoring its reputation within the financial services community for technical excellence and unrivalled customer service.
The awards acknowledge excellence in trading technology within capital markets, and focus on the community of specialised suppliers of trading operations technology.
The award comes as a result of BSO’s continued investment in its ultra low-latency global finance network. Over the past year BSO has increased its international points-of-presence in major financial hubs by 30 per cent, while reducing latencies around the globe, including providing three of the world’s fastest trading routes.
In recent months, BSO has announced partnerships with some of the industry’s biggest players, including an agreement with CME Group to provide market data, hosting and colocation services to the exchange’s customers. This agreement gives CME Group members access to BSO’s global network reaching over 20 countries and 91 data centres across established and emerging markets.
Sucden Financial has also chosen BSO to provide clients with unrivalled low-latency connectivity for derivatives trades between London and Hong Kong. BSO’s experience in the growing Asian marketplace, coupled with its highly stable trading circuits, were two key factors behind Sucden Financial’s decision.
Michael Ourabah, CEO at BSO, commented: “We are thrilled to be recognised by members of the financial community as the industry’s premier low-latency network provider. This prestigious award represents BSO’s growing leadership in the space, and as our recent partnerships show, some of the biggest names in the business trust us to provide superior connectivity to their customers as they grow their global reach.”
Andrew Delaney, President of A-Team Group, which hosts the ITT Awards, added: “We are pleased to offer our congratulations to BSO on their prestigious Intelligent Trading Technology Award win. Our readership of 15,000 senior trading technology executives clearly voted BSO as the leading provider of Best Low Latency Network Services.”
