The BSE Ltd has formed a 16 member Advisory Committee headed by Chairman of BSE Ltd., Mr. S Ramadorai to advise the Governing Board on non-regulatory and operational matters including product design, technology, charges and levies.
The Committee has been formed in conformity with the Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) Regulations, 2012 and consists of trading members only, with the Chairman of the Board as the Chairman of the Committee.
As per the SECC Regulations, the Committee will primarily focus on developing viable and sustainable capital markets products and services for existing as well as new investors. The committee will also suggest appropriate framework for all non-regulatory issues faced by the investors currently. The composition of the Committee is as follows:-
