This figure includes purchases of international investors in the public offerings, which amounted to BRL 5,019,927,049.30, and the net trading value at BOVESPA, which registered an outflow of BRL 794,130,027.00.
In the first 20 days of April, the balance of foreign investors' trades on BOVESPA is positive, amounting to BRL 4,987,273,349.00. This value corresponds to the result from sales worth BRL 24,365,164,681.00 less purchases of BRL 29,352,438,030.00.
The participation of foreign investors in public offerings, including IPOs, accounted for 59.5% of a total of BRL 8,436,802,397.80 for trades with closing announcements published by April 23, 2008.
