Borsa Italiana's Shareholders Approve Merger With London Stock Exchange

Borsa Italiana’s shareholders meeting, held today, approved the amendments to Borsa Italiana’s bylaws required for the completion of the integration with London Stock Exchange.

These amendments include the removal of 10% voting restrictions in shareholders meetings and the removal of slate voting for the appointment of Board of Directors.

Furthermore, the amended bylaws includes the creation of a nominations committee to be established within by the Board of Directors.

The effectiveness of the amendments is subject to the completion of the London Stock Exchange offer for Borsa Italiana’s shares.
