After being organized in Belgium for the first time in 2009, DevOpsDays spread to the world in a short time. Now, DevOpsDays will be hosted by Borsa İstanbul for the first time in Turkey on June 3-4, 2016. DevOps Days activities were realized in three continents, 11 countries, 22 cities in 2015, and this year, it will be organized in 24 cities including Istanbul.
DevOpsDays, a philosophy and method to convene software developers and system managers on a different platform to ensure that they work together more efficiently, has been organized since 2009. This year, DevOpsDays will be held in Istanbul for the first time, hosted by Borsa İstanbul. Thanks to the BISTECH transformation it realized last year, Borsa İstanbul is marching towards becoming a globally competitive company capable of developing and exporting advanced software technologies, and through DevOpsDays, Borsa İstanbul will lead Turkey’s national software sector in terms of content and ideas.
DevOpsDays is a technical conference, addressing everyone involved in software, from those in the beginning of their careers to senior managers. DevOpsDays has a different format from most conferences and seminars. In addition to technical presentations on software, DevOpsDays will include open space sessions with topics determined by the participants. This format allows specialists in this area to come together and share their experience and information on the latest technology, and therefore add to the national and international knowledge level.
On the occasion, an opening-bell ceremony will be held in Istanbul on June 3, 2016.
1st Istanbul DevOpsDays will be held at Borsa İstanbul’s campus in Emirgan on June 3-4, 2016, and all software and operation specialists are expected to attend the event.
