Taking action immediately after the earthquake, Borsa İstanbul Group delivered 5 trucks of humanitarian aid and 3 trucks of vehicles and equipment consisting of generators and rotary hammer drills for search and rescue operations, and electric and tube heaters for the heating needs of earthquake victims to Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman and Hatay, within 2 days, in line with the demands from the earthquake area and in coordination with AFAD.
Aids were delivered to AFAD Earthquake Coordination crisis management centres by Borsa İstanbul Group employees in the provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman and Hatay, the hardest-hit areas affected by the earthquake. Moreover, some of our employees have contributed to the volunteer work in quake-affected areas.
We wish Allah's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake, our condolences and patience for their relatives and a speedy recovery to the injured.
