BIST-KYD Indices Ground Rules are revised by the BIST-KYD Indices Commitee based on the Communiqué on Principles of Investment Funds, effective on July 1, 2014, eliminating the difference between A and B type funds. The following decisions are effective as from January 15, 2016, upon the approval of Borsa İstanbul management:
- BIST-KYD Type A Fund Index and BIST-KYD Type B Fund Index will be no longer be calculated as from January 29, 2016.
- Based on the fund classification scheme and guide announced by the Turkish Capital Markets Association, BIST-KYD Fixed Income Fund Index and BIST-KYD Equity Fund Index will start to be calculated as from January 15, 2016.
- BIST-KYD Fixed Income Indices and BIST-KYD Equity Fund Indices will be calculated retrospectiely and announced as from January 4, 2016, with starting values of 100 and starting dates of December 31, 2015.
- The weighing method of BIST-KYD Fund Indices is changed from total fund value weighted to equal weighted.
