Borsa İstanbul and Tehran Stock Exchange signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 26, 2015 during the visit of Executives of Tehran Stock Exchange and Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran to Borsa İstanbul.
Borsa İstanbul and Tehran Stock Exchange signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 26, 2015 during the visit of Executives of Tehran Stock Exchange and Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran to Borsa İstanbul. The MoU aims at fostering cooperation and developing mutually beneficial business opportunities for the two exchanges.
At the MoU signing ceremony, Borsa İstanbul CEO Tuncay DİNÇ said “We are glad to sign this MoU with Tehran Stock Exchange. I am confident that this MoU will pave the way for intense cooperation between our exchanges and mobilize us to explore joint business development opportunities. Borsa İstanbul and Tehran Stock Exchange, each comprising great potential, will no doubt add value to each other’s know-how and business scope.”

Iranian and Turkish capital markets, as two neighbors with really valuable potential in the region, could build upon the existing good relations and collaborate further in many areas including exchange of staff and expertise and development of mutually beneficial business projects. Signing of this MoU is a significant step in this direction. The MoU between Borsa İstanbul and Tehran Stock Exchange, entails exchange of information and expertise, exchange of staff, organization of joint events and development of dual listing opportunities.
