BM&FBOVESPA: Commodity Derivatives Trading Reaches 29,508 Contracts – A New Record - Live Cattle Another Record, At 23,613 Contracts Traded

The BM&FBOVESPA commodity derivatives market reached a new record high on Tuesday, of 29,508 contracts traded (futures and options). The previous record was 27,376 contracts traded, on September 17, 2007.

In Tuesday’s session, there was also a record in live cattle trading, at 23,613 contracts (futures and options). The previous record was 20,665 contracts, on June 25, 2008.
