BVMF informs you that, as of October 4, 2010, BM&FBOVESPA will change the market closing hours for stock index futures and options, as follows:

1. Trading starts after the electronic opening call. 2. Daily calls at 11:30 and 15:30. 3. On the futures contract’s expiration date, regular trading hours will close at 17:00 for the expiring contracts. 4. The pre-opening phase will begin 5 minutes before trading starts.
For the Ibovespa Futures Contract, the settlement price corresponding to the first month will be calculated by the weighted arithmetic average of trades executed during the 15-minute trading period from 17:00 to 17:15, except on the contract’s expiration date.
On the expiration date, the settlement price will be calculated by the weighted average of the Ibovespa Index for the last three hours of trading in the cash market.
