hereby announces to the market that on fulfilling the requirements established by the Brazilian Securities Commission (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários), or CVM, in connection with applications for registration as a public company, the Company has prepared the Financial Information as of and for May 8, 2008, the date on which shareholders’ meetings approved the combination of the activities of BM&F SA, the Brazilian Mercantile and Futures Exchange, and of Bovespa Holding SA, which operates the São Paulo Stock Exchange.
