Bear Stearns International Ltd will start direct trading in equities, derivatives and fixed income products on Oslo Børs and equities on the regulated market place Oslo Axess from Monday 10 March.
Bear Stearns is a leading investment bank with a wide specter of investment services world wide. Several of the worlds leading investment banks have traded directly on Oslo Børs for quite some time, and it is a recognition of Oslo Børs and the Norwegian market that Bear Stearns now chooses to become a member.
Oslo Børs has 60 members, of which 36 are remote members trading from offices outside Norway. Bear Stearns is the first new member in 2008.
