BATS Global Markets, a global stock market operator, reports the BATS 1000℠Index (BATSK) declined 0.4% for the week ending January 28 in the U.S. The S&P 500 Index declined 0.5% for the same period.
The BATS 1000 Index was at 14,411.28 as of 4 p.m. ET Friday compared with a final value of 14,469.51
last Friday, January 21.
The sectors were mixed this week with four sectors advancing and six sectors declining. Leading the
advances were Alternative Resources and Energy (+1.4%) and Basic Materials (1.1%). Consumer
Goods (–1.9%) and Business Services (–1.6%) led the declines.
