NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced that Barclays Capital has expanded its presence on NYSE Amex options by becoming a new member firm on the recently re-launched NYSE Amex options trading floor. Barclays’ new unit joins its existing market making business units on NYSE Arca options and NYSE Amex options as well as its equities-based Designated Market Maker (DMM) business unit on the NYSE.
