Barbara Stymiest To Leave TSX Group

TSX Group Inc. today announced the resignation of Chief Executive Officer, Barbara Stymiest effective October 31 to pursue a new opportunity in Canadian financial services.

The Board of TSX Group Inc. has constituted a search committee to identify a successor to Ms. Stymiest. That search will begin immediately.

Ms. Stymiest was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Toronto Stock Exchange five years ago in September 1999 with a mandate to complete the Exchange’s demutualization and take the company public in an IPO that was completed in November 2002.
