Baltic Exchanges Welcome MP Investment Bank As A New Member

On July 17, 2006, MP Investment Bank has been approved as a member on the Baltic stock exchanges and as such gains access to trading on the exchanges in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. The bank is the first member from Iceland on the Baltic exchanges and becomes the 12th pan-Baltic member.

MP Investment Bank is a privately held authorized investment bank and a member of the Icelandic Stock Exchange. The company was found in 1999 and became an Investment Bank in 2003.

MP Investment Bank provides clearly focused and professional services meeting international standards. The company is providing Asset Management, Brokerage Services and has a Corporate Finance department. The Bank has a strong position in the Icelandic capital markets and is now amongst the top five Iceland Stock Exchange members in terms of securities turnover. Sharing the same trading system with all OMX exchanges and Oslo Bors, MP Investment Bank has ready access to most foreign markets. The bank has obtained full operating licences in the Baltic countries where it is preparing to establish branches along with a branch in the UK.

MP Investment Bank will start trading on the Baltic stock exchanges under trading code MPB. The Baltic stock exchanges have 41 member altogether.
