The International Capital Market Association (ICMA) is pleased to announce that AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has joined the Association.
AXA Investment Managers is a multi-expert investment asset management company within the AXA Group, a global leader in financial protection and wealth management. AXA IM is one of the largest European-based asset managers with approximately €485 billion in assets under management as at 31 December 2006 and has expertise in all major asset classes including fixed income, equities, real estate and private equity.

ICMA, the self-regulatory organisation and trade association, represents practitioners in the international capital market worldwide, including banks and asset management firms. It has played a key role in development of the international capital market, particularly in Europe, over the past three decades by providing and enforcing a self-regulatory code of industry-driven rules and recommendations which regulate issuance, trading and settlement in international fixed income and related instruments. In the past year the Association has been involved in the creation of two important new cross-industry groupings designed to improve the representation of market participants by co-ordinating the work of various trade associations.
