BaFin would like to make clear that the authorised company Atlantic Equities Deutschland GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, which is supervised by BaFin, is not the operator of the website atlantic-equities.de. The internet presence of Atlantic Equities Deutschland GmbH can be found at atlantic-equities.com.
The unknown operators of the website atlantic-equities.de have been contacting consumers in Germany on an unsolicited basis and offering them shares, including TLG Immobilien AG shares, using the name Atlantic Equities Deutschland GmbH Ltd. In some cases, consumers were also contacted via other companies. This is a case of identity fraud committed by unknown perpetrators. The objective appears to be to induce those contacted to transfer money to accounts designated by the perpetrators. Consumers were contacted by telephone and by e-mail. The e-mail address used for this is info@atlantic-equities.de.
Companies that offer to sell financial instruments of other companies to consumers in Germany require authorisation from BaFin. Information on whether a particular company has been granted such authorisation by BaFin can be found in BaFin’s database of companies.
