ASX Announces CFO appointment

Australian Stock Exchange Limited (ASX) announces the appointment of Mr Alan Bardwell to the position of Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with effect from 4 December 2006.

Mr Bardwell is currently the CFO of Citigroup (Australia/New Zealand). He is a qualified (UK and Australia) chartered accountant with a strong financial services sector background gained over a 15-year career with Citi in Australia and overseas, having worked in the United States and Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong and China).
