The Norwegian securities company Argo Securities AS will start direct trading in equities, derivatives and bonds on Oslo Børs, Oslo Axess and Oslo ABM (Alternative Bond Market) from Monday 8 December.
Argo Securities AS is formed by former employees from the securities division in Kaupthing Bank hf. NUF. The SpareBank 1 Alliance is the majority owner in the company.
Including Argo Securities, Oslo Børs has 58 members, of which 35 are remote members trading from offices outside Norway. The number of members on Oslo Børs has doubled over the last seven years. Including Argo Securities, there are in total 45 members on Oslo Axess and 15 members on Oslo ABM.
