Florence Gaubert was appointed the AMF’s Director of Communication with effect from 1 October 2011.
Florence Gaubert, aged 41, holds a post-graduate degree in International Economics from the Universityof Paris I (Panthéon Sorbonne) and is a Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst (CEFA). She began her careerin November 1997 as a Press consultant with Actus Finance et Communication before being appointed Account Director in September 1999. In September 2000 she joined the COB, where she was the Publications and Institutional Communication Officer. Following the creation of the AMF, she became Communication Officer for Regulatory and International Affairs. In September 2007, she was appointed Deputy Head of the AMF’s Communication Department and Communication Officer for Asset Management, Markets and Investor Protection.
Barbara Frugier was appointed the AMF’s Deputy Executive Director of Communication with effect from 1 October 2011.
Barbara Frugier, aged 36, holds a degree in Political Science with an option in European and International Relations from the Institut d’études politiques in Aix-en-Provence and a post-graduate degreei n Businesses and Local Authorities in the European Community from the University of Lyon II (Lumière).She began her career in 2000 as a Press consultant with Actus Finance et Communication. She went on to become Editor at the financial news channel Initiés-Tv, and was subsequently a Press consultant with Publicis Consultants. She joined the COB’s Public Relations department in August 2002 as Publications and Institutional Communication Officer. In February 2007, she became Communication Officer for Regulatory and International Affairs.
