Annual Changes To The NASDAQ OMX Global Technology Index

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today the results of the annual evaluation of the NASDAQ OMX Global Technology Index (Nasdaq:NQGL9000), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, March 18, 2013.

The following 12 securities will be added to the Index: Oracle Corp. Japan (4716 JP), NEC Corp. (6701 JP), ASML Holding N.V. (Nasdaq:ASML), Atos (ATO FP), Research in Motion Ltd. (Nasdaq:BBRY), Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE:CSC), Catamaran Corp (Nasdaq:CTRX), Amdocs Ltd. (NYSE:DOX), Facebook Inc. (Nasdaq:FB), CGI Group Inc. (GIB/A CN), Harris Corp. (NYSE:HRS), and Lam Research Corp. (Nasdaq:LRCX).

The Index is designed to track the performance of the technology companies that are domiciled in China or Hong Kong. As a result of the evaluation, the following 12 securities will be removed from the Index: ASM Pacific Technology Ltd. (522 HK), United Microelectronics Corp. (2303 TT), Nomura Research Institute Ltd. (4307 JP), Rohm Co. Ltd. (6963 JP), Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (005930 KS), SK C&C Co. Ltd. (034730 KS), Alcatel-Lucent (ALU FP), ASML Holding N.V. (ASML NA), Research In Motion Limited (BB CN), Dell Inc. (Nasdaq:DELL), Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq:INFA) and Xerox Corporation (NYSE:XRX).
