The shareholders of ASR Verzekeringsgroep accepted the takeover bid of Fortis (NL) N.V. ASR Verzekeringsgroep will be deleted from the Euronext 100 index with effect from Tuesday 19 December 2000, in accordance with rule 6.3.3 of the index ground rules.
