American Stock Exchange To Trade Options On Two New Market Vector ETFs

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) will launch trading in options on Monday, October 16, 2006 on the following exchange traded funds:

  • Market Vectors Environmental Services ETF (Symbol: EVX)
  • Market Vectors Steel ETF (Symbol: SLX)

Market Vectors Environmental Services ETF options will open with strike prices of 35 - 45 (1pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist will be Kellogg Capital Group, LLC. Market Vectors Environmental Services ETF seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Amex Environmental Services Index.

Market Vectors Steel ETF options will open with strike prices of 35 - 45 (1pt increments) and position limits of 2,500,000 shares. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle. The specialist will be Kellogg Capital Group, LLC. Market Vectors Steel ETF seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Amex Steel Index.
