In this issue, the ASEA Member focus is on the Malawi Stock Exchange and the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM). Mr. Symon Msefula has been at the helm of the Malawi Stock Exchange since July 2002 and is leading the Exchange in its development through adifficult economic environment in Malawi. He has been a stockbroker, a regulator and now is at the centre of the action; the stock market. Mr. Edoh Kossi Amenounve was appointed the head of the West African Stock Exchange (BRVM) just a year ago and has a concrete plan on enhancing the competitiveness of the West African Bourse.
