Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) celebrated today, the International Day of Happiness, as part of national celebrations carried out by UAE on this international event which falls on March 20th of each year.
On this occasion, ADX staff were engaged in a work shop to highlight the grand concepts of happiness and the importance of having it firmly entrenched in the workplace and among the people of UAE.
ADX Chief Executive, Rashed Al Blooshi commented on this occasion saying: "The UAE has always been a firm believer in promoting happiness and positivity as a lifestyle for its citizens and residents alike, as well as for humanity as a whole. UAE wise leadership positions the welfare and happiness of its citizens at the core of its policies and plans aiming at creating social good and achieving a happier society"
Al Blooshi added that consistent and tireless efforts have paid off, with international organizations specialized in human development, giving the UAE top marks in indices of happiness and satisfaction.
ADX Chief Executive reiterated that the UAE was among very few countries in the world to have a ministry of happiness among its cabinet positions with a responsibility to enrich social good, achieve a happier society and carry on with the comprehensive sustainable development that UAE is witnessing.
Al Blooshi remarked that ADX has always been keen to enhance the concept of happiness among its employees and staff, based on institutional frameworks that would certainly increase the productivity which will ultimately reflect on the contribution to achieve the objectives of the country and its wise leadership.
