ADSM Signs MoC With Gre Tai Securities Market (Taiwan)

Abu Dhabi Securities Market (ADSM) and Gre Tai Securities Market (GTSM) signed today a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) signed by Mr. Daung-Yen Lu, Chirman of Gre Tai Securities Market, and for ADSM by Mr. Tom Healy, Director General.

Mr. Tom Healy, DG of ADSM, said: “This MoC will strengthen the ties between ADSM & GTSM also opens a new gateway of cooperation and sharing of expertise. We see opportunities for significant business being done between our two markets.”

For his part, Mr. Daung-Yen Lu, the Chairman of GTSM, said: “By signing this MoC, we establish a milestone to explore the market potentials in the Middle Eastern countries. The Middle East has been growing at an incredible rate. We are honored to have this opportunity to present our market to you, and we are interested to know more about your capital market. In fact, we are very excited about the Global Semiconductor ETF that is to be launched during the second season this year. This ETF product will have high growth potential and will be very attractive to the institutional investors and sovereign funds in Abu Dhabi. Also, we would like to promote the dual-listing opportunity for that ETF. We believe that this MoC is the key to open the door of cooperation between the two markets.’’
