The Agency published today its Opinion on the draft template for the main terms and conditions in the gas transport contracts for bundled capacity products proposed by the European Network of Transmission System Operators for gas (ENTSOG).
The Agency acknowledges and appreciates the significant work undertaken by ENTSOG in developing the draft template. However, the Agency considers that it does not always go as far as would be desirable to promote European market integration. ACER therefore has a number of recommendations for the final document, such as the inclusion by ENTSOG of concrete legal texts and good practices. ENTSOG has to publish the final template by 5 January 2019. TSOs, subject to the approval of the National Regulatory Authorities, may apply the terms and conditions set out in the template in the case of newly contracted bundled capacity products.
