Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange emphasized the important role that strategic partners play with respect to the Exchange’s work and their influential contribution to the achievements that the Exchange makes from time to time due to offering best services to investors and other groups of customers. This comes in line with the Exchange’s commitment to maintaining continuous communication with the partners and strengthening mutual relationships.
The event was attended by His Excellency Rashid Al Baloushi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, in addition to a number of chairmen and managers of the Exchange and the people in charge of the brokerage companies. The honoring ceremony was organized on Monday, 25th of January under the title “Our Broker” at the Exchange’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The event targeted brokerage companies that are registered in Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange which played a major role during 2015 and which offered the Exchange’s customers and investors a unique performance and high quality value.
In this context, Rashid Al Baloushi confirmed that the Exchange’s management always seeks to organize such events for the strategic partners in line with the strategy that is compatible with Abu Dhabi Government’s Future Vision 2030.
He also added that Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange takes pride in the cooperation relations it was able to maintain for a long time with its partners. Those partners have shown their concern and keenness to support the Exchange’s work with respect to its commitment toward whatever work decisions it issues, in addition to helping it provide the best services and value to the investors and work partners.
Furthermore, Al Baloushi said that Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange works with the brokerage companies based on a real partnership and because the Exchange’s management board is convinced that these companies have a vital role to play being the primary drive of the trading activity in the Exchange. Therefore, this honoring ceremony comes in line with the Exchange’s efforts to maintain constant communication with its partners.
He also emphasized that launching “Our Broker” initiative, which honors the brokerage companies’ offices that are part of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, is one of the steps that can activate cooperation relationships with the strategic partners within Abu Dhabi Exchange’s strategic plan.
Moreover, he mentioned that the Exchange has approved a strategy that is based on a number of major elements, the most important of which is the reinforcement of the environment that regulates the Exchange’s transactions and develops them according to the best international practices, in addition to supporting brokerage companies in their continuous effort to achieve the highest levels of outstanding performance that aims to support the principles of disclosure and transparency.
Al Baloushi concluded his speech by saying that developing Abu Dhabi Exchange is our ultimate goal both on the long and short terms. He also said that the Exchange’s staff is working closely with all the parties and entities that are concerned with developing the money market in the UAE in order to increase the number of companies that are listed in the Exchange and provide more products and services.
Furthermore, Al Baloushi said that Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s management welcomes any suggestions or notes from the concerned companies and brokers which would ultimately help serve the public interest and support the development of the country.
On their part, brokerage companies welcomed this step and appreciated the efforts, initiatives, programs and other motivating events that Abu Dhabi Exchange carries out in order to ensure the highest levels of performance. They also praised the Exchange’s management’s keenness to maintain continuous communication with them and the Exchange’s commitment to developing its services on a continuous basis by taking advantage of the latest technologies in such a way that benefits all of the customers in the Exchange. The companies expressed their readiness to fully cooperate and actively participate in supporting the Exchange’s works.
During the ceremony, four companies were honored which represent the brokerage companies that are registered at Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. Commemorative shields and appreciation certificates were presented to the honored companies.
