About Calculating RTS Index On September 13, 2007

On September 13, 2007 there were 3 bids set by mistake for "Gazprom" shares for the price $11,58 a share, which led to a considerable change of 3 RTS Index values.

RTS information Committee analyzed the situation and took a decision to recalculate the Index values without taking into account the incorrect trades. A situation like that is provided by the effective Methodology of the RTS Index Calculation in order to avoid mistakes in the process of its calculation.

The RTS Index value for the moment of closing trading session on September 13 stays the same.
