95.5% Companies Qualified Under Evaluation By Shenzhen Securities Exchange

The Shenzhen Securities Exchange (SZSE) has finished the evaluation of the 488 companies listed on the main board on their information disclosure for 2007. 466 companies were qualified with 42 evaluated as excellent, 232 as good and 192 as qualified.

The evaluation was made to strengthen responsibilities of the companies on information disclosure as well as the sense of standard operation.

In spite of a higher standard, companies evaluated had satisfying results, which showed a rising quality of information disclosure by listed companies in comparison with last year.
