Barclays Global Investors (BGI), the world's largest provider of exchange traded funds (ETFs), yesterday announced the listing of 5 new iShares plc funds on Euronext Amsterdam. The new set of ETFs offer investors a simple means to invest in property, infrastructure and emerging markets.
The new products are:

iShares MSCI Turkey
iShares FTSE EPRA/NAREIT US Property Yield Fund
iShares FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Asia Property Yield Fund
iShares FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global Property Yield Fund
Commenting on the launch of the new ETFs, Jennifer Grancio, Head of Distribution iShares Europe, said: “We have listened to our clients and responded by delivering ETFs that provide exposure to markets and asset classes that are not easily accessible. With these 5 new trackers, 166 products are now listed on NextTrack, Euronext's segment dedicated to trackers and active ETFs, following more than 110 different underlying assets.”
- The three iShares FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Property funds provide investors exposure to property companies and real estate investment trusts in Asia, the US and Globally. These funds can help diversify a portfolio away from broad based equities and bonds.
- The iShares FTSE/Macquarie Global Infrastructure 100 provides investors broad based exposure to shares of the world’s leading infrastructure companies, including transport and utility stocks.
- The iShares MSCI Turkey provides investors exposure to an entire index of Turkish equities in just one trade. The fund provides opportunities for investors seeking diversification within their portfolio and can help manage the investor’s risk and return allocation.
