2007 KCBT Volume And Open Interest Summary - KCBT 2007 Trading Volume Second Largest In Exchange History

The Kansas City Board of Trade trading volume for 2007 was the second largest in the 152-year history of the exchange. Total exchange volume for 2007 amounted to 4,670,955 contracts, second only to the record of 5,287,190 contracts set last year.

The KCBT hard red winter wheat futures contract also saw the second largest volume in the history of the exchange. Volume for 2007 totaled 4,318,007 contracts, second only to 4,763,168 contracts traded last year.

The Kansas City Board of Trade, chartered in 1876, is the world's largest futures market for hard red winter wheat.
