Øivind Amundsen Appointed As Senior Vice President - Legal Affairs At Oslo Børs

Øivind Amundsen (42) has been appointed Senior Vice President – Legal Affairs at Oslo Børs. He is currently a partner in Advokatfirmaet Selmer DA, where he assists Norwegian and international clients in connection with securities transactions and issues related to stock exchange and securities law.

Mr. Amundsen focuses primarily on the listing of Norwegian and international companies, acquisitions and mandatory bids, mergers and demergers, the ongoing responsibilities of listed companies, and legal issues in connection with investor participation in the stock market.

Prior to becoming a partner in Advokatfirmaet Selmer DA, Øivind Amundsen was Executive Vice President and head of the legal department at Kommunal Landspensjonskasse. He also has long experience as an in-house attorney with the legal department of Oslo Børs. Mr. Amundsen is a Cand.jur. graduate of the University of Bergen and qualified as an authorised financial analyst at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. He also completed the senior officer training course at the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy.

Mr. Amundsen will be head of the legal department at Oslo Børs and will be a member of the senior management group. With effect from 1 March 2010, the market surveillance function will also form part of the responsibility of the head of the legal department.

Øivind Amundsen will take up his appointment during the first quarter of 2010.
