Ángel Torre González is Chairman of Bolsa de Valencia and a member of the Board of Directors of Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME). Among other posts he holds, he is a member of the Board of Santander Investment Bolsa, Sociedad de Valores, Deputy Chairman of the Consejo Permanente y del Patronato de la Fundación de Estudios Bursátiles y Financieros and a member of Patronato del Instituto Iberoamericano del Mercado de Valores.
Sociedad de Bolsas is a company in which the four Spanish stock exchanges hold a 25% stake each and its corporate purpose is to manage the Spanish electronic stock trading platform –SIBE. The company appoints each year a representative of the four Spanish marketplaces as its Chairman, a post which this year will be hold by Ángel Torre González.
