Recently, as informed by the Futures Industry Association (FIA), Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE) has been approved unanimously by FIA Board of Directors, to become a member of FIA.
FIA is a leading global industry organization for the futures options and centrally cleared derivatives markets, aiming to support open transparent and competitive markets, protect and enhance the integrity of the financial system and promote high standards of professional conduct. Currently, FIA operates officesin Brussels, London, Singapore and Washington DC.FIA members are from more than 48 countries and regions, includingclearing firms, exchanges, clearinghouses, trading firms etc.
Joining FIA is an important step for ZCE to push forward market internationalization. ZCE would leverage the benefit of FIA membership, to learnexperience from developed markets, promote the functioning of market, serve the real economy, and ultimately build itself as the"industry leading risk management platform and world renowned commodity pricing center"; ZCE will also leverage the opportunities to strengthen international communication and cooperation, participate in the formation and improvement of international industry standards, andenhance ZCE's presence and influence in the global markets.
