Yatra Capital Limited, an Indian property fund based in Jersey, was listed on Euronext Amsterdam today. Yatra, which aims to create value for investors through the ownership, development and operation of high-quality property on Indian commercial and retail markets, raised EUR 100 million through a placement with an introductory price of EUR 10 a share. First trade was done at EUR 10,50.
Further proof of the international appeal of Euronext markets, the company’s market debut was attended by Mr Ajoy Kapoor, CEO of Yatra, and Ms Naleem Sabharwal, the Indian ambassador to the Netherlands.
Joost van der Does de Willebois comments: “The listing of Yatra reinforces Euronext’s position as a gateway to international capital markets. Yatra is the ninth foreign company to apply for listing on our market this year.”
Yatra CEO Ajoy Kapoor comments: “Euronext is very international in its outlook and offers us the access we want to the international capital market. Yatra is very pleased to be listed on Euronext.”
Yatra’s prime objective is to offer investors capital growth through the development, ownership and operation of high-quality residential, commercial and retail properties in India.
