The brokerage house X-Trade Brokers began to operate on the WSE as an Exchange Member on 20 November 2007.
The company X-Trade Brokers DM S.A. was founded in September 2004. In November 2005, the company obtained the permission of the then Securities and Exchange Commission (KPWiG, now the Financial Supervision Commission KNF) to operate a brokerage business.
X-Trade Brokers operates on the forex market. XTB also has a branch in the Czech Republic operating as of March 2007.
