Four new iShares equity index ETFs from BlackRock's product offering have been tradable in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment on Xetra since Tuesday.
A quality-based strategy is used for the iShares MSCI Europe Quality Factor UCITS ETF. Stock corporations are selected within individual sectors based on three factors reflecting the companies' earnings quality: dividend yields, low debt ratio and stable earnings power. The reference index currently contains 124 companies from 15 industrialised nations.
The iShares MSCI Europe Momentum Factor UCITS ETF is based on the momentum strategy. Momentum measures the strength of a share price movement. This approach selects companies with high momentum. Currently 125 companies from 15 industrialised nations are included.
The iShares MSCI Europe Value Factor UCITS ETF provides investors with access to a value-based investment strategy. With this strategy, stock corporations are selected on the basis of three factors: price-earnings ratio, price-to-book ratio, and ratio of company value to operating income (cash flow). The reference index currently contains 149 stock corporations from 15 industrialised nations.
The iShares MSCI Europe Size Factor UCITS ETF contains equally weighted mid-cap stock corporations selected from the MSCI Europe Index.
The product offering in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,038 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around €11 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.
