WSE Introduces Futures On The Stock Of The First Foreign Company - WSE Will Introduce Futures Contracts On The Stock Of Kernel Holding SA On 28 November 2011 - Kernel Holding SA Is The First Foreign Company Whose Stock Is The Underlying Of A Futures Contract On The WSE

The new futures will represent 100 shares per contract. The following series of futures contracts will be in trading:

This will be the eighth single-stock futures contract introduced to trading on the WSE this year. The last four new futures on the stock of TVN, JSW, Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka and GTC were introduced to the market on 2 November 2011. A total of 18 single-stock futures including the new instrument will be in exchange trading.

The volume of trading was 624.7 thousand contracts in January-October 2011 as compared to the annual volume of 375.5 thousand contracts in all of 2010. Dynamic growth of the offering of futures contracts addresses the growing interest of the market in such instruments.

Dom Maklerski BOŚ S.A. will be the market maker of the introduced single-stock futures contracts.
