Worldline To Showcase Its Latest Innovations At Money 20/20 Europe

Date 01/06/2022

Worldline [Euronext: WLN], a global leader in payment services, is attending Money 20/20 Europe fair in Amsterdam, on June 7-9 2022 and will showcase its latest innovative solutions based on Open Banking and Web3 technologies, among others.

As Money 20/20 brings together those that matter in the FinTech industry, Worldline will use the event to bring what matters in payments: technology designed for growth. The Worldline experts will ‘shake the future’ of payments, showcasing the group’s latest innovative solutions, products and technologies designed to address banks’ and merchants’ current needs to navigate the future challenges of their business.

Worldline brings the payment technology and expertise needed to accelerate the customer journey and achieve sustainable growth by:

  • Leveraging on Open Banking to propose a Green Banking offering to highlight the Carbon Footprint of users (based on the analytics of their purchases data). Banks can educate and offer their customers green alternatives to further engage with them over a long-term relationship.
  • Giving visitors to Worldline’s stand the opportunity to mint and collect a unique NFT, allowing them to take home a virtual souvenir that will also represent the funding of a research program that will focus on an in-depth lifecycle analysis of the footprint of the decentralisation technologies we explore.
  • Providing Metaverse experiences:

o    In our virtual showroom in Decentraland, created in partnership with Bitcoin Suisse as a space to demonstrate shopping and brand placement opportunities,

o    With immersive augmented payment reality with Tropos for a seamless experience. Augmented Reality can create an extra dimension to real life experiences and extend these beyond the physical reality, bringing immersive shopping, event or travel experiences to life.

  • Experimenting Livestream commerce allowing retailers and influencers to promote and discuss products with shoppers via live streaming video. Worldline and Livescale will present Live Shopping, where consumers can seamlessly purchase products without having to leave the interactive live experience.
