Leonard is in town promoting Friday Night Fights in the City of Brotherly Gloves at the First Union Center on Friday, October 5 at 7 p.m.
The appearance of Sugar Ray Leonard marks the tenth bell-ringing ceremony in a yearlong series of famous Philadelphians invited to ring the Exchange's bell on the first day of the month. Mayor John F. Street kicked off the celebrity series when he opened trading in Philadelphia on Jan. 2, 2001.
The media is invited for interviews starting at 9:10 a.m. in the Exchange's lobby. Photography is permitted on the trading floor as well.
