Marie explains that in a recent survey commissioned by PwC with over 60 asset managers, investor awareness and education were cited as a key influencer for the further growth of the ETFs in Europe. The bringing together by Women in ETFs of key influencers spanning fund managers, exchanges, index providers, lawyers, accountants, brokers to connect, support and share experiences can only facilitate a greater understanding and appreciation amongst a broader community of the benefits of ETFs. With the focus of Women in ETFs on education, networking and professional advancement, the Dublin group intends to provide an ideal forum for the support and development of female talent in an era of skills shortage and demand for talent within this industry.
