Former Wirecard chief executive Markus Braun, who resigned last week, has been detained in Bavaria accused of inflating the company’s balance sheet and revenues
The prosecutor's office in Munich said Braun turned himself in on Monday evening and would appear before a judge today, will be presented to a judge on Tuesday who will decide on whether he will remain in custody.
