Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. Removes September As A Delivery Month For Canola

Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. (“WCE”) announced today that the September 2006 Canola Futures Contract has been removed from trading effective immediately.

The WCE Oilseeds Committee approved the removal of the September 2006 canola futures contract, and the removal of September as a contract delivery month for canola going forward, based on limited trading activity in the contract month. Amendments to WCE’s Rules in this regard will be submitted to The Manitoba Securities Commission for non-disapproval.

The September 2005 canola futures contract will remain listed until September 14, 2005 which is its last day of trading under Exchange Rules.
