Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Futures Contracts Set Open Interest Record

Total open interest in Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. (WCE) futures contracts reached 133,978 contracts as at the close of business on May 16, 2007.

This level of open interest surpasses the previous WCE futures contract total open interest record of 133,266 contracts which was recorded on February 7, 2007.

Total open interest in canola futures contracts reached an all-time high on May 16, 2007 at 113,348 contracts.
